Editorial Policy

Who we are

  • My Luxury Toys is an online retailer of adult wellness products, operated by 2416315 Alberta Ltd., Thornhill, Ontario.
  • We sell products. Our guides are written to help you shop safely, and we say so openly.

How our guides are made

  • Research: claims come from primary sources such as peer-reviewed studies, government and regulator pages, and manufacturer specifications. Sources are listed in each guide where they apply.
  • Writing: guides are written by the My Luxury Toys editorial team.
  • Review: a guide shows a reviewer and review date only when a credentialed professional has actually reviewed it. Otherwise it is not presented as medically reviewed.
  • Updates: we recheck guides regularly and sooner when a source changes.

What we will not do

  • We do not make diagnosis, treatment or cure claims.
  • We do not use unsupported terms such as "hypoallergenic", "medical grade" or "100% safe". Where a material term has no legal standard in Canada or the US, we say so.
  • We do not invent experts, credentials or staff.

AI-use disclosure

  • We use AI tools to help with outlines, first drafts and formatting.
  • A human editor checks facts against sources before publication. AI is never listed as an author or reviewer.

Retail disclosure

  • We earn money when you buy from us. We do not accept payment to rank or praise other brands.
  • Our guides are general information, not medical advice. Talk to a licensed clinician about personal health concerns.
